First-Time Homebuyers Education Workshops
The Neighborhood Improvement Association provides free Homebuyers Pre-counseling workshops to residents seeking to purchase their first home. Information includes using credit, predatory lending, shopping for a mortgage, shopping for a home, home inspection, homeowners insurance and closing procedures. Workshops are held bi-monthly and are one day long. Certificates for attending workshops are issued at conclusion.
